RYA Dinghy Instructor

RYA Dinghy Instructor - Pre Entry Assessment

Before being eligible to book onto an RYA Dinghy Instructor Course, you must first complete a 1 day assessment of your Dinghy Sailing skills.

The aim of the pre entry assessment is to confirm you can sail a double and/or single handed dinghy in a controlled and confident manor, demonstrating the sailing manoeuvres and techniques you would be qualified to teach once you complete the Dinghy Instructor course itself.

This pre-requisite is designed to ensure time on the DI course that follows is spent learning about teaching techniques rather than teaching instructor candidates to sail.

If you are interested in undertaking a Pre Entry Assessment, or you want to learn more about the process? Then Contact me today to discuss further.

RYA Dinghy Instructor (DI)

At the heart of every good Dinghy Club or Centre is a team of enthusiastic, passionate and committed Dinghy Instructors!

Having been running DI training for the past 7 years, I've had the pleasure of meeting a number of great candidates all with aspirations of passing on their love of this great sport to others.

This 5 days course can be split up over a number of weekends and is achievable for anyone with a good personal level of sailing ability already, who is 16 years + and who can commit time to complete this course.

Interested in setting up a course at your club or centre? Or do you just want to learn more about the process? Contact me today to discuss further.
